Mike Johnson M.A.E. is a teacher and freelance photographer. His images have appeared in print and electronic media worldwide. Assignments have included underwater work for National Geographic and Field and Stream magazines. In his role as an instructional designer and online resource developer, Mike is on special assignment to the IT department of the Grossmont Union High School District creating and supporting online portals. He has also served as an Apple Distinguished Educator.

A San Diego native who enjoys horseback riding with his two daughters and bodysurfing with friends, Mike also cherishes an occasional afternoon of daydreaming on Palomar Mountain with his wife Kelly.
