A comprehensive study of Final Cut Pro - Apple Certified

This course introduces students to the primary feature set and user interface of Final Cut Pro in a highly interactive and project-based format. You’ll learn basic setup, adjusting and customizing preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, ripple, roll, slip and slide tools, audio editing and audio creation, finishing and final output. During the first half of the week you’ll apply these techniques to footage that we provide. Then, in the second half of the week, you’ll work on a personal project using footage of your choice (we encourage you to bring or shoot your own).

This course covers the requirements necessary to successfully become an Apple Certified Pro, Level 1 in Final Cut Pro. Level 1 certification attests to basic operational knowledge of the application. Learn more about Apple Certification
