Course Description
This hands-on, collaborative course will immerse you in the exciting and popular world of robotics. Working in small teams, you’ll explore topics like gear ratios, locomotion and energy as you construct robots with the Mindstorms NXT robotics kit. You’ll learn how to design, build, program and control your robots while putting them through a series of real-world design challenges.
This course will challenge you to think critically and work with others to solve problems. Whether you’re brand new to programming and robotics or an aspiring engineer, you’ll expand your knowledge while having an awesome time with classmates who share your interests.

Who Should Attend
Teens who love to build things with their hands and want to learn more about mechanical and programming concepts in robotics.
Prerequisites
Basic experience using a Macintosh or Windows-based PC.
