University of Pennsylvania

Summer Camps & Computer Training

About University of Pennsylvania

The University of Pennsylvania is a historic Ivy League school with highly selective admissions and a history of innovation in interdisciplinary education and scholarship.  It is widely regarded as one of the finest learning institutions in the world. Penn's picturesque campus is situated near the heart of Philadelphia, a vital metropolis and the fifth largest city in the country.  New and one-of-a-kind attractions, a wealth of art and culture, renowned performing arts companies, awe-inspiring architecture, a walkable downtown, seemingly endless shopping (with no tax on clothes) and a restaurant renaissance that has caught the world's attention make Penn and Philadelphia an excellent choice for an unforgettable summer experience.

Digital Media Academy course offerings at the University of Pennsylvania are presented in partnership with the Penn Engineering SIG Center for Computer Graphics and the Penn Design Summer Art Studios. The DMA Corporation is a separate entity, not otherwise affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania. None of the classes offered below bear any academic credit from the University of Pennsylvania. Teen and Adult courses however, are offered for optional Stanford University Continuing Studies credit.

For high school students who are interested in a for-credit academic experience in engineering and computer science/graphics, check out Penn Engineering’s Summer Academy in Applied Science and Technology (SAAST).

For high school students who are interested in an intensive academically rigorous experience in studio art including animation, filmmaking and video, check out Penn Design’s Summer Art Studios.
