FUNDING & GRANT INFORMATION
Response to Recent School Budget Cuts
|
DMA realizes that school budgets and the ability to offer training and professional development for faculty and staff has been greatly affected by the current economic conditions. In response we have partnered with Redrock Reports to put together a set of funding sources and grant application tools that schools and educators can use to secure money to attend DMA summer courses and/or bring DMA onsite for training and professional development. We have created 4 tools, detailed below, that you can use to help locate funding sources and apply for grants for your teachers, staff and students. Tool #1 – DMA Funding Matrix: [PDF Document] Tool #2 – DMA Funding Assistance Document: [PDF Document] The alignment of Digital Media Academy product lines to funding sources is accomplished in two ways. First, key elements associated with the Digital Media Academy product lines are presented and can be used to align to funding sources. Secondly, the federal, state and private funding overviews provide key statements regarding the funding requirements and the ways that the Digital Media Academy product line is aligned to these statements. Tools #3 & 4 – Grant Template for Pro Series (Adult/Educator) Courses and Grant Template for Kids/Teens Camps [PDF Documents] All of these tools were created In line with the Digital Media AcademyTM’s goal to make its courses accessible to all who would like to attend. If you do apply for a grant, please contact the DMA office at 866-656-3342 or e-mail us at info@digitalmediaaacademy.org. We would be happy to help you in any further way to secure your grant. |
