Spring has sprung in Silicon Valley! And Digital Media Academy is getting ready to bring its critically acclaimed tech camp to Stanford University again—and we hope your 6-18 year old will join us for a week…or more!

Kids learn about filmmaking in the Adventures in Filmmaking camp at Stanford.

DMA offers both residential (sleepaway) and day summer camp experiences on Stanford’s picturesque campus. Just minutes from downtown Palo Alto and in the heart of Silicon Valley, Stanford University is a technological and educational hub, making it the ideal location for a tech camp. No other camp offers the hands-on immersive experience DMA delivers, with instructors who are industry professionals or technology educators.

Visiting the Bay Area
This summer elevate the family vacation to new heights! While the kids are soaking in DMA’s tech camp experience at Stanford University, you’ll have prime access to all the Bay Area has to offer—see the Golden Gate Bridge, take in a San Francisco Giants or Oakland A’s baseball game, take a wine tour through in Napa Valley or explore the beautiful beaches of Santa Cruz, Monterey and Half Moon Bay.

Digital Media Academy also offers adult certification in Film Production and Maya and is an Apple Authorized Training Center, so if you prefer, you can take in one of DMA’s Pro Courses at Stanford University. Pro Courses are open to anyone of 15 years and older (classes/camps are divided by age), so it’s not unlikely to see a parent and their older teen taking a Pro Course together.

Creating the Future at Stanford
When you attend DMA’s Stanford location, you’ll not get the chance to attend one of the world’s most prestigious university but to explore and create technology in a world-class setting right in the heart of Silicon Valley. Apple Computer’s archive is located at Stanford, and the founder of the University, Leland Stanford, was responsible for the genesis of motion-pictures, having funded the Horse in Motion project.
