On East 71st Street in New York City you’ll find a unique setting for a tech camp. Marymount Manhattan College has an impressive reputation as a leading liberal arts college.

For kids and teens, it’s one of the most exciting campus locations DMA offers—a tech camp energized by the city around it.

“It’s a fascinating place, filled with all kinds of national history,” says Alanna Ranellone, acting director at Digital Media Academy’s New York City tech camp at Marymount Manhattan College. “And we’re starting a history here…with a new DMA location, in New York City. It’s really thrilling.”

“I hope students here at DMA feel like they’re a part of something really special,” Alana says. She’s already noticed campers well on their way to creating video games, movies, apps and more. “Every camper has made amazing strides from Day One,” she says proudly. And the summer’s not over at DMA’s newest new york tech camp location. Games are being programmed, and short films written, shot and edited.
