Digital Media Academy is proud to present Made by Girls, the all-girls summer program dedicated to inspiring girls and young women through technology.

Today, the computer science industry is home to one of the lowest rates of gender diversity, but why? Researchers attribute this to the negative stereotypes and social constructs that society places upon girls at an early age.

Made by Girls is dedicated changing these misconceptions, using empowering curriculum designed to help students gain the confidence and critical-thinking skills necessary for success in school and in life.

Led by inspiring female leaders in STEM, Made by Girls instructors are role models with a passion for teaching and technology. Through collaborative project-based learning, creative activities and engaging lessons, students develop the real-world skills needed to break through the barriers.
